Technicians/LVTs:

Description:

The licensed Veterinary Technicians of Michigan Veterinary Specialists are professional, dependable, and highly competent individuals with many responsibilities. Our LVTs work either full-time or part-time with varying schedules that span three different shifts to deliver excellent patient care 24 hours a day, seven days a week. LVTs may work the busy ICU/Emergency Services department or may work as a primary technician in one of our specialty departments (i.e. Cardiology, Dermatology, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Radiology or Surgery).

Requirements:

  • Must be a licensed Veterinary Technician with the qualifications to deliver excellent patient care and outstanding customer service.
  • Flexibility in scheduling (some weekends and alternating holidays are required).
  • Salary dependent upon experience.

Veterinary Assistants:

Description:

The Veterinary Assistants of Michigan Veterinary Specialists are experienced, dedicated professionals that provide support to our clients and clinicians with the highest consideration for patient care. Veterinary Assistants also work either full-time or part-time with varying shifts that span 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Veterinary Assistants work in either the ICU/Emergency Services department or in one of our specialty departments (i.e. Cardiology, Dermatology, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Radiology or Surgery).

Requirements:

  • Must have prior veterinary experience or currently enrolled in a Veterinary (DVM) or Technician (LVT) Program.
  • Flexibility in scheduling (some weekends and alternating holiday’s required).
  • Salary dependent upon experience.
