A Final Word

Finally, former interns have said that our hospital provides them with an excellent background in dealing with some of the business issues that affects all doctors. We include management topics in your initial orientation and monthly lectures. We find that this input helps our interns be more successful in the future careers.

Several of our clinicians are active in research projects. Often, the research can be part of one of the projects required of the interns during the program year. Many of the participants in our internship program go on to receive additional training in residencies.
