INTERNSHIPS

Introduction | Our Program | Our Hospital | Contact

Our program goals are to ready you for success in either a residency or a progressive, private practice. We help you develop your medical experience, your client skills, and your management abilities. We encourage you to visit our facility to directly experience our program's benefits yourself. If you cannot visit, please contact me or one of the clinicians listed at this letter's end to learn more about how our program may be a good match for your career plans.

Myth #1- I am less likely to get a residency with private practice internship experience.

Truth: Look at our statistics!

year program started 1993
total interns in program 46
pursued residencies 29 (63% of interns)
received residencies 17 (59%)

Myth #2- Private practice interns are underpaid, overworked individuals used to cover nights in the Emergency Room.

Reality: MVS internships are designed to prepare you for a successful career by providing a well rounded, diverse education. You will be part of the action! (see an example of our calendar)
